Self-Love – noun regard for one’s own well-being and happiness (chiefly considered as a desirable rather than narcissistic characteristic).
The definition tells us self-love is a positive and desirable trait to have. So, yes please, let’s embrace more self-love everyday.
Will you have problems if you are lacking in self-love?
Yes! Lack of self-love can get you into trouble. You may accept bad behavior from others and do things you don’t want to do because of your lack of self-love. You may not be true to yourself and lose pieces of yourself in the process. These experiences can cause a lot of pain and suffering nobody should have to go through.
It is an area of our lives many of us need to work on. Having a strong regard for your own well-being and happiness will keep you safe and lead you to choices that will bring true joy and happiness to your life.
